Product Description:
The NYX series comprises pulse-wave Time-of-Flight (ToF) RGB-D cameras developed using Nuvoton's (formerly Panasonic) pulsed-wave ToF chip technology. These cameras operate with 940nm infrared light, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. They offer a ToF resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and can achieve frame rates up to 30 FPS. The ToF field of view is 70° horizontal and 50° vertical. The RGB module features a global shutter with a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, sharing the same field of view as the ToF sensor. The working range is between 0.3 to 4.5 meters, with an accuracy error ranging from 1% to 2%.
The series includes two models: NYX650 and NYX660. The key differences are:
- IP Rating: NYX650 has an IP42 rating, while NYX660 boasts an IP67 rating, indicating higher resistance to dust and water, making it more suitable for harsh industrial environments.
- Power Supply: NYX660 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE+) in addition to a 12V~24V DC input, whereas NYX650 supports only the 12V~24V DC input.
- Physical Connection: NYX650 uses RJ45 and M8 aviation plugs, while NYX660 utilizes M12 and M8 aviation plugs, enhancing reliability in industrial applications.
Overall, the NYX series cameras are designed for high precision and reliability in industrial applications, offering high frame rates, strong ambient light resistance, and robust protection against environmental factors.
