SPAD dToF Evaluation kit VI4331 USB Module

The VI4331 dTOF LiDAR module integrates a 240 × 96 single-photon SPAD receiver array and a VCSEL light source, enabling accurate distance measurement of objects regardless of their color, reflectivity, or surface texture. This integration delivers a compact and cost-effective solution for miniaturized 3D perception applications across various market segments. By leveraging independently developed SPAD technology, time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) algorithms, and a dedicated digital point cloud processing engine, the VI4331 dTOF USB module achieves high-precision, image-level 3D point cloud output with sub-centimeter accuracy.
The module features a standard USB 2.0 interface, supporting the transmission of multiple data types, including time-of-flight (ToF), reflectance, and grayscale information. It is accompanied by a comprehensive software development kit (SDK), enabling users to rapidly prototype end-user applications using processed point cloud data without requiring in-depth knowledge of underlying photometric calibration, histogram generation, or related low-level signal processing procedures.
Furthermore, the module supports customizable data output formats. Through parameter configuration, it can be adapted to different application requirements, allowing for an optimized balance between data transmission bandwidth and functional performance.
