The LDM301 laser distance sensor utilizes the principle of measuring time of flight. It can measure a distance of 300 meters for natural surfaces and 3000 meters for reflective surfaces. The fast flight time method enables the system to also calculate the speed of objects. The measurement can be carried out at a frequency of 10 kHz. High frequency distance measurement enables LDM301 to also measure the speed of objects. The measurement speed of LDM301 is extremely fast, making it particularly useful in continuous process control related to chemical, steel, refining, and other large-scale manufacturing businesses.

LDM301 meets or exceeds the demanding IP67 internal protection standard. The LDM301 series IP67 certification means that it can also be used in harsh temperatures (-40 ℃ to+60 ℃), rain, sleet, and snowfall conditions, as well as corrosive, grinding, and salt spray environments.

The LDM301 laser rangefinder series is equipped with multiple interface options (RS-232, RS-422, Profibus, and SSI) and can switch between analog and digital outputs, making it easy to integrate into new or existing process control systems.

The LDM301 laser distance sensor comes standard with a built-in heating system, status indicator light, and manual aiming system. The flexibility of the system is not limited to this, as each standard component can be replaced with an optional component.
